Genital warts are sexually transmitted viral infection that affects both men and women of any age. They are found in the genital region and anal areas of its victims, hence the name of the disease. The wart infection is very contagious and therefore the treatment of genital warts is recommended as soon as possible. In infected children though, it has been forwarded that an investigation for a possible sexual abuse be done since the infection is normally transmitted through a sexual contact.

This particular treatment of genital warts also has a longer healing time. The laser treatment also can emit viral particles in the air that are infectious.
